We are seeking a

dynamic and experienced Head of Department (Science)

to lead our Science faculty at our reputed institution in

Secunderabad

. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic knowledge, leadership qualities, and the ability to guide teachers in delivering high-quality Science education.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the

Science Department

, ensuring effective teaching and curriculum implementation. Supervise and support

Science teachers (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

in lesson planning, assessments, and classroom delivery. Develop and implement

academic strategies, projects, and lab activities

to promote scientific learning. Monitor and evaluate

department performance

and student academic outcomes. Ensure proper maintenance and safety of

Science laboratories and equipment

. Organize

faculty meetings, training sessions, and science-related events

(fairs, exhibitions, competitions). Foster collaboration between teachers and promote

innovative teaching practices

. Maintain coordination with the

school leadership and academic management

. Ensure alignment of teaching practices with

CBSE/State board standards and school policies

.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong command over Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Proven leadership and mentoring abilities. Excellent

communication, organizational, and decision-making

skills. Ability to motivate and guide teachers and students. Familiarity with

modern teaching tools and technologies
