to lead academic execution and faculty coordination under the guidance of the Director - MBA.

Role Overview

The

HoD - MBA

is responsible for the

day-to-day academic leadership and execution

of the MBA program. Working

directly under the Director - MBA

, the HoD ensures effective curriculum delivery, faculty performance, student discipline, and academic quality in line with institutional and university standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Planning & Execution

Ensure effective delivery of the MBA curriculum as per the academic calendar. Monitor syllabus completion, lesson plans, and teaching methodologies. Ensure quality in internal assessments, evaluations, and examinations. Support implementation of experiential learning, case studies, and industry exposure.

Faculty Coordination & Performance

Coordinate and supervise MBA faculty members. Ensure faculty punctuality, workload adherence, and teaching quality. Assist in faculty mentoring, orientation, and performance evaluation. Report faculty performance, gaps, and requirements to the Director - MBA.

Student Monitoring & Discipline

Monitor student attendance, performance, and classroom discipline. Address student grievances, academic concerns, and counseling needs. Ensure compliance with institutional rules and university regulations. Promote academic culture, ethics, and professionalism among students.

Academic Administration & Compliance

Maintain academic records, attendance data, assessment reports, and documentation. Support affiliation, audit, and inspection-related academic requirements. Assist the Director - MBA in NAAC and quality assurance documentation. Ensure timely submission of academic reports and data.

Coordination & Support

Coordinate with internal departments (Admissions, Accounts, HR, Placements). Support placement preparation activities and academic-industry integration. Assist in organizing guest lectures, workshops, seminars, and FDPs.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification in Management (MBA is mandatory). Ph.D. is preferred.

8-12 years of teaching and academic experience

, with administrative exposure. Prior experience as HoD / Program Coordinator / Senior Faculty is desirable. Strong subject knowledge, leadership ability, and communication skills.
