Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of the English Department (HOD) to lead and teach in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language and literature, exceptional leadership and teaching skills, and the ability to inspire and engage students in a deep exploration of language, literature, and communication.

Qualifications

:

Master's degree in English or related field. Relevant teaching and leadership experience in a CBSE school

Salary is based on the previous experience.

Responsibilities

:

1.

Curriculum Management

: Oversee the planning and implementation of the English curriculum in line with CBSE guidelines. Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in the department.

Teacher Support & Development

: Mentor and train English teachers to enhance instructional quality. Organize professional development sessions and guide teachers in best practices.

3.

Student Performance

: Monitor student progress and ensure effective teaching strategies to boost academic performance.

Implement interventions when necessary to support learning outcomes.

4.

Collaboration

: Work closely with school leadership to align departmental goals with the overall academic vision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
