The Role: The Head of Cloud Engineering is a pivotal leadership position responsible for guiding our technological direction across several key areas: cloud computing, Generative AI, front-end development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. This role demands a visionary leader capable of integrating these diverse technological areas to support and advance our business objectives, ensuring our digital solutions are both innovative and secure, catering to the specific needs of the pharmaceutical sector. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Technological Leadership: Develop and execute a cohesive strategy that integrates cloud computing, front-end development, cybersecurity measures, and infrastructure management to support pharmaceutical innovations and operations. Generative AI and LLMOps Innovation: Lead the adoption and operationalization of Generative AI technologies, ensuring they are securely integrated and aligned with user needs and business goals. Infrastructure Strategy and Management: Ensure robust, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure, capable of supporting complex, high-availability applications and data services . Front-End Development Management: Oversee the creation of intuitive, engaging user interfaces for our digital solutions, ensuring accessibility and a seamless user experience. Cybersecurity Oversight: Establish and maintain the highest standards of data protection, privacy, and security across all digital platforms, adhering to pharmaceutical regulations and best practices. Cross-Disciplinary Team Leadership: Mentor and manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Navigate the complex regulatory environment of the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring all technological solutions comply with relevant laws and guidelines. Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Over 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering leadership, with a strong background in front-end development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management. Proven expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP , front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), cybersecurity protocols , and scalable infrastructure design . Previous experience in or knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry\'s regulatory and commercial landscape. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse technology teams and drive innovative, secure, and effective digital solutions. Exceptional strategic planning , problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills .
