Roles & Responsibilities
Extract data from various data sources, perform exploratory data analysis, and conclude actionably insights
Employ scaling & automation to data preparation techniques
Develop analytical frameworks to monitor business and product performance
Analyze business & technical performance metrics on daily basis using in house developed analytics tools & other 3rd party integrations
Build a dashboard for various KPI and update them from time to time
Define new data collection and analysis process
Measure, report and analyze metrics that indicate progress and gaps towards multiple business goals including online engagement, user behaviors, product adoption, merchandise assessment, and more
Drive product impact by proposing and conducting quantitative research into key user behaviors and business trends
Develop an in-depth understanding of user journeys, product consumption & marketing impact
Communicate with all relevant stakeholders
3+ years of experience in applying data science techniques to drive technical product development and decision-making
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience
Excellent data mining skills in Python, Tableau, Power BI, or any similar third party
Strong background working with predictive and statistical methods to translate business challenges into Data Science problems
Well versed with standard e-commerce analysis/assessments like funnel analysis and cohort analysis
Strong foundation in data query/manipulation using SQL and data visualization using tools like Tableau, Metabase
Data mining using state-of-the-art methods
Passionate about solving problems possesses a relentless need for investigation and data exploration.
Experience in product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, Google Analytics, etc)
Experience using Python, R, or other tools for statistical analysis is a strong plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to engage with product managers and senior management
Proficient in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
