About this opportunity:



The Head of Automation owns and leads Automation strategy and execution providing leadership and vision to the organization. Collaborating closely with the other Heads of Department and Individual Contributors to ensure E2E management and success of delivery.

What you will do:



Drive operational efficiency and productivity through quality automation models, aligning with SDE targets and boosting automation saturation in MS Networks.

Focus on stable automation performance with reduced outages and stronger operational outcomes.

Collaborate with SDAP for streamlined automation monitoring, issue tracking, and reporting.

Align automation initiatives with BCSS MS Networks' AI/ML strategy.

Enhance communication on automation benefits and their business impact.

Manage O&M, lifecycle, and performance of SL Operate tools, ensuring clear automation SLAs and effective tracking.

Contribute to service architecture strategies (EOE, AAA) to maximize automation value and roadmap alignment.

Institutionalize best practices and automate internal team processes to reduce manual efforts.

The skills you bring:



15+ years of experience in managed services environment, with minimum 8+ years of experience in Managed Services operations

University degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Business Administration, MBA is a plus.

Strong grasp of managed services delivery and Ericsson SD processes.

Deep understanding of operator business needs and service delivery models.

Skilled in Ericsson process measurement tools and SL Operate/SDAP MSDP environments (eTiger, ACE, etc.).

Technically proficient in OOAD, design patterns, and development on Unix/Linux/Windows with Java, JS, DB, Shell scripts, and monitoring tools like Nagios.

Familiar with software component interactions and DevOps practices.

Hands-on with automation tools (Enable, Blue Prism, MATE) and monitoring platforms (Grafana, Zabbix, Elasticsearch, Graylog).

Strong experience with web/proxy/app servers (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache).
