Snapshot of your day.
You kick your day off as Accounting Service Center Manager India by meeting with your reports, to discuss the state of the transition, the latest team updates, and central initiatives to improve the process efficiency within your remit. Next you talk to the Head of Accounting for one of your service areas, a key collaborator and partner, to align the update for the regional CFO community next week which you\'ll present jointly. While you just had a quick glance at your wider team\'s critical metrics, and addressed major observations to your respective function leads, you find yourself in a review meeting with the Regional Accounting team to evaluate improvement potential of the end-to-end process for Fixed Assets. Because you\'re the global sponsor for the Accounts Receivable teams, you meet with the function leads for all three-service provider regions within Accounting Services to simulate the strategic and collective thinking of this group and drive selection of the next tool of choice.
How You\'ll Make an Impact.

• In your role as the Accounting Service Centre Manager Asia Pacific, you will manage the overall operation of the region, which includes the following functions:
• General Ledger, Closing & Reporting, Bank and Cash, Accounts Receivables.
• Out of Bangalore, you\'ll be responsible to serve Siemens Energy entities in Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, while being also responsible for China in the near future with operational accounting excellence in the above mentioned four functions.
• Beside your operational duties, you will be representing Accounting Services with key collaborators in the regions, partner with your counterparts in Europe and Americas to drive global harmonization and standardization, look after and develop passionately an upbeat team that is eager to not only delivery operationally but also keen to continuously accept change at a local and global scale.
• You can use your excellent and effective communication skills to support, challenge and develop your team through ambiguity.

• Proven ability with validated experience of 10 years in leadership of an operational accounting center
• Bold approach and eager to drive finance transformation through organisational change
• People oriented and committed to drive personal growth of the team, with a track record of handle and lead talents
• Flexibility to discuss detailed process steps and high-level pivotal initiatives with the same accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience of working in a truly multicultural working environment
• Finance leadership experience, with shown success in leading teams through organisational change processes
