Job Description

The Head Nurse leads the school's health services to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of students and staff in a diverse, multicultural environment. This role includes clinical care, staff supervision, health education, and compliance with safety and safeguarding protocols and promote a culture of wellness across the school community

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and train nursing staff; manage team schedules and duty rosters. Provide first aid, emergency response, and manage chronic conditions. Oversee daily infirmary operations, ensuring hygiene and readiness. Maintain accurate, confidential health and immunization records, prepare medical reports, and manage clinic inventory Promote health education and wellness across the school community. Communicate effectively with students of all ages, staff, and families of all nationalities. Support medical planning for school trips and events. Manage staff conflicts professionally and maintain a positive working environment. Undertake Safeguarding training and report any safeguarding concerns. Liaise with external healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (B.Sc. or equivalent) Valid RN license First Aid and CPR certification (up to date) Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with 2-4 years in a school, pediatric, or childcare setting preferred and proven record of leading and managing a nursing team Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a diverse, international setting Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, record-keeping systems)

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
