The KG Headmistress is responsible for the overall management, academic leadership, and administrative functioning of the Kindergarten section. She ensures the delivery of high-quality early childhood education by fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners.
Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership
Plan, implement, and oversee the
curriculum
and
lesson plans
aligned with the school's vision and educational standards.
Ensure that
teaching methodologies
are age-appropriate, innovative, and child-centered.
Monitor and evaluate teachers' lesson delivery and students' learning outcomes.
Organize and oversee
assessment and evaluation systems
for students.
Encourage the use of
play-based learning
and
experiential education
.
2. Staff Management and Development
Recruit, train, and supervise KG teachers and support staff.
Conduct
regular staff meetings
, performance reviews, and classroom observations.
Identify professional development needs and organize
workshops or training sessions
.
Promote a collaborative, motivated, and positive work environment among staff.
3. Student Welfare and Development
Ensure each child's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Oversee discipline, safety, and hygiene in the KG section.
Support children with
special learning needs
through early identification and intervention.
Encourage moral values, creativity, and confidence among students.
4. Administration and Operations
Prepare and manage the
KG section's budget
, resources, and facilities.
Maintain
attendance records, progress reports, and student portfolios

Coordinate timetables, events, and activities specific to the Kindergarten.

5. Parent and Community Relations

Participate in the school's
