Minimum 8-12 years in Quality Management with a strong background in rubber molding, extrusion, or related rubber processes.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced

Head - Quality

to lead our Quality Department in the Assembly Division. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction through effective systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions in the assembly line. Establish, implement, and maintain

IATF 16949 / ISO 9001

quality management systems. Drive

process improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)

. Handle

customer quality issues, audits, and 8D problem-solving

. Ensure

supplier quality control and incoming material inspection systems

are effective. Monitor and analyze

process quality, rejection, and rework trends

. Lead

internal audits, MRM (Management Review Meetings)

, and

quality documentation

. Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure consistent quality standards. Lead the

team of engineers and inspectors

with a focus on training, motivation, and continuous improvement.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification:

BE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering preferred).

Experience:

Minimum

10-15 years

in Quality function within the

automotive / assembly / component manufacturing

industry.

Knowledge:

IATF 16949, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 7QC Tools, and customer complaint handling. Experience in

OEM / Tier-1 Supplier

environment preferred.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability. Good communication and customer handling skills. Sound knowledge of quality tools, documentation, and audits.
