1. Position Overview



The Head - Export / International Business Development will lead the company's global sales expansion, strategic marketing initiatives, international customer relationship management, and new market penetration for Vidya Wires Limited as well as ALCU Industries Pvt Ltd. This role ensures sustainable revenue growth, brand positioning, and long-term business partnerships across international territories. The ideal candidate has deep experience in the Winding wires of copper and Aluminium, CTC conductors, electrical, or manufacturing sector and a strong global commercial acumen.

2. Key Responsibilities



A. International Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth



Develop and execute the company's global sales strategy for international markets (USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, South America etc.). Drive annual sales targets, market share expansion, and revenue growth. Identify emerging markets and opportunities for new product penetration. Build and manage a strong global B2B, distributor and channel network.

B. International Business Development



Conduct market mapping, feasibility studies, and competitor analysis for targeted regions. Develop strategic partnerships with OEMs, importers, and large global clients. Identify and evaluate new business models, JV opportunities, and long-term alliances. Represent the company in global exhibitions, trade fairs, and B2B events.

C. Customer Relationship & Key Account Management



Lead engagement with international key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships. Oversee customer satisfaction, negotiation of high-value contracts, and resolution of escalations. Maintain periodic reviews with clients to understand future requirements and industry trends.

D. Marketing & Branding (International)



Create and implement international marketing plans, brand positioning strategies, and digital marketing initiatives. Oversee development of region-specific marketing collaterals, presentations, datasheets, and promotional content. Manage participation in international expos, technical seminars, and product demonstration sessions. Work closely with the marketing team to enhance global brand visibility.

E. Pricing, Commercials & Documentation



Develop pricing strategies aligned with international competition and cost structures. Review and approve export documentation, commercial terms, LC requirements, and regulatory compliance. Ensure adherence to international trade norms, export-import laws, and logistics guidelines.

F. Cross-Functional Coordination



Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, EXIM, Logistics, and Finance to ensure timely execution of export orders. Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure availability of materials as per customer specifications. Provide market insights to NPD for product development aligned with global standards.

G. Leadership, Team Development & Performance Management



Lead and mentor the international sales & marketing team. Set KRAs, conduct periodic performance reviews, and ensure team capability building. Build a global sales structure including regional managers, agents, and representatives.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in engineering / management or marketing; MBA in International Business preferred. 15-20 years of experience in international sales, exports, and business development, preferably in the Winding wires, conductors, cables, electrical, metals, or manufacturing industry. Proven record of achieving high-value global sales targets and expanding international markets. Strong understanding of export documentation, Incoterms, LC terms, and international regulatory compliance. Experience working with global B2B clients, distributors, and international supply chains.

Compensation:



Competitive base salary with performance-based bonuses or commissions. Benefits package including healthcare, retirement plan, and travel allowances. Expenses for international travel and business development activities will be covered.
