Responsibilities:
Strategic Operations:
-Strategically oversee the timely and efficient dispatch of coal for each cluster (Sarguja, Jharkand, Singruli, Tamnar, Odisha) meeting or exceeding target metrics.
-Responsible to continuously monitor and ensure the successful completion of railway siding projects, optimizing transportation efficiency.
-Administer logistics activities, including managing dispatch contractors, ensuring safe loading practices, and optimizing traffic movement.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
-Supervise and sustain effective communication with government agencies and railway authorities to guarantee efficient logistics operations to dumping grounds and railway sidings.
-Maintain relationships with transporters and contractors to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation solutions, and address critical escalations promptly.
-Act as the primary representative of the Logistics department in cross-functional and strategic meetings, providing insights and updates on logistics operations.
Financial and Administrative Management:
-Responsible for meeting annual budgetary goals, including managing Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Service Entry Sheets (SES), and Non-Inventory Supplies (NIS).
-Oversee the invoicing process of vendors is carried out efficiently to maintain smooth financial operations and foster positive vendor relationships.
Quality and Safety Assurance:
-Oversee the MIS to monitor contractor performance and ensure accurate reconciliation of material outflows, loads, and receipts to achieve high client satisfaction across all clusters.
-Implement safety protocols across all logistics operations within the cluster, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
-Oversee the monitoring of EDRM sanctions and ensure timely actions for their availability, preventing any operational delays.
Leadership and Team Management:
-Spearhead the logistics team across all the cluster locations (Sarguja, Jharkand, Singruli, Tamnar, Odisha), fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
-Maintain constant communication with the TPS (Technical and Production Support) team to ensure stringent quantity and quality control, upholding the highest standards for materials handled.
Digital Innovation and Integration:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of cutting-edge digital tools and platforms among the team to optimize logistics operations, drive strategic decision-making, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Lead the integration of emerging digital technologies to streamline processes, improve logistics accuracy, and ultimately reduce operational costs.

Qualifications:
Education Qualification:

20+ years of work experience in logistics or supply chain management, with significant leadership experience.
