Our client, a global banking leader, is actively seeking an experienced individual as Finance controller to co-ordinate and work closely with their FP&A team and manage their line of business. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and managing outcomes that will provide transparency to the business on balance sheet and P&L in a way that allows the CFOs to have a clear line of sight on risks and issues within their financials. Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards. Collaborate closely with the accounting teams in helping drive greater control of entries that impact business performance outcomes. Work closely with the data management team to define GL standards and accounting treatments to help balance control and performance reporting requirements Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across the finance function. Role requirements CA or CFA or equivalent qualification is required. 15+ years\' work experience in managing a business aligned controller function Should have strong experience in implementation of strategic changes as well as knowledge of core accounting guidelines, IFRS etc. Good eye for detail and with a strong focus on controls and compliance to policies and procedures Demonstrated experience of influencing decisions at senior leadership level. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with cross cultural teams. Experience of working in a global organisation in a matrix environment.
