Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



1. Strategic Financial Leadership



Lead the development and execution of long-term financial strategies aligned with overall business goals.

Partner with management to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions evaluation and new business development with financial feasibility studies.

Drive capital allocation decisions to maximize ROI and enhance shareholder value.

Anticipate economic trends and their impact on business operations; develop proactive mitigation plans.


2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)



Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support business objectives and growth projections.

Conduct in-depth trend analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, expenditures, margins, and cash flows.

Regularly review actual performance against budget and forecasts; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.

Lead the preparation of a 3-5-year financial plan, integrating business expansion and capital investment goals.


3. Performance Monitoring & Reporting



Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports to management, including dashboards and graphical data analysis.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance summaries to senior management.

Develop and maintain project-level profitability analysis and ROI tracking for new and ongoing projects.


4. Operational Finance & Controls



Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes with accuracy and adherence to timelines.

Standardize and control administrative costs by conducting regular cost-benefit analyses and identifying efficiency opportunities.

Monitor and control departmental and project-level budgets, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.


5. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management



Manage cash flow planning and ensure liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.

Monitor fund inflows and outflows, and optimize working capital cycles.

Develop financial strategies to manage and reduce outstanding liabilities and improve collection cycles.


6. Risk Management & Compliance



Ensure financial practices comply with internal policies and statutory regulations.

Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies including insurance, reserves, and cost controls.

Oversee banking relationships, ensure appropriate financing facilities are in place, and manage financial documentation and negotiations with financial institutions.


7. Business Growth & Investment Analysis



Evaluate the financial viability of new business lines or strategic investments.

Lead due diligence efforts for acquisitions or partnerships, providing risk analysis and integration planning.

Prepare income and expense reports for each line of business and project to assess long-term sustainability and contribution to the bottom line.


8. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration



Act as a financial advisor to the CEO and board, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.

Work closely with department heads to align operational plans with financial goals.

Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Pay: ?600,000.00 - ?900,000.00 per year
