B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Master's in Construction Management / MBA preferred.
18-25 years of progressive experience in Project Management roles in real estate, construction, or infrastructure.
Minimum 5-7 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
Proven track record of delivering complex residential, commercial, or township projects on time and within budget.

Roles and Responsibilities-
The Head - Engineering
will provide strategic leadership and operational direction to the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction functions of the company's real estate business. This role will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of multiple projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use, or townships) by integrating design, procurement, contracts, and construction management. The position ensures timely delivery of high-quality projects within approved budgets, while also building a strong Engineering capability aligned to the company's growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Business Leadership
Develop the Engineering strategy in line with the company's real estate business objectives.
Drive long-term planning of project pipeline, resource allocation, and capability development.
Introduce innovative construction technologies, digital project monitoring tools, and sustainable building practices.
Provide thought leadership to position the company as an industry leader in execution excellence.
2. Project Planning & Delivery
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within cost budgets, and meet quality benchmarks.
Establish project governance frameworks, including risk management, escalation mechanisms, and reporting structures.
Coordinate with Design, Business Development, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams for alignment of project objectives.
3. Engineering & Design Management
Review and validate architectural, structural, MEP, and service designs for technical accuracy and feasibility.
Implement value engineering solutions for cost optimization without compromising quality.
Ensure engineering deliverables are aligned with regulatory norms, environmental standards, and sustainability goals (e.g., IGBC/LEED certification).
4. Procurement & Contracting
Develop strong vendor ecosystem for contractors, consultants, and material suppliers.
Ensure procurement is cost-efficient, transparent, and compliant with company policies.
Create long-term partnerships with suppliers and contractors to secure competitive advantage.
5. Construction & Execution
Provide oversight on construction execution across all sites.
Monitor project progress, site productivity, safety, and quality.
Ensure statutory compliance with RERA, local building codes, fire, and environmental regulations.
Troubleshoot site-level technical and coordination challenges.
Institutionalize Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices across all projects.
6. People Leadership & Capability Building
Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary Engineering team
Mentor project managers and engineers to take on larger responsibilities.
Foster a culture of accountability, performance orientation, and innovation.
Define KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and enable training interventions.
7. Financial Management & Reporting
Drive budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management across projects.
Implement robust project MIS and dashboard reporting for real-time tracking.
Regularly present project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to top management and the Board.
