Job Description

A Head Electrical job involves leading the entire electrical function, overseeing design, installation, maintenance, and safety of electrical systems, managing a team, ensuring compliance ( , regulations), driving efficiency (energy, uptime), budgeting, and acting as the technical authority for all electrical matters, from HT/LT panels to automation. Key duties include strategic planning, technical problem-solving, vendor management, performance evaluation, and fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Management:

• Lead, train, and mentor the electrical engineering/maintenance team.
• Develop manpower strategies and approve vendors.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and project scoping.
• Technical Oversight:

• Oversee design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Act as the main technical reference for specialists.
• Ensure equipment operates within specifications (HT/LT panels, PLCs).
• Review technical drawings and sign off on documents.
• Operations & Maintenance:

• Ensure reliable and safe operation of all electrical equipment.
• Drive maintenance strategies and improve asset reliability.
• Manage energy efficiency initiatives and optimize utility systems.
• Safety & Compliance:

• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
• Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate electrical hazards.
• Strategy & Improvement:

• Formulate and recommend policies and process improvements.
• Stay updated on new technologies and trends.
• Provide technical guidance for complex troubleshooting.

Essential Skills & Knowledge

• Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, including HT/LT, PLCs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
