Role brief:

Curriculum Designer will be responsible for the design and development of learning and development courses for one of its kind school in India.
This role will enable learning and development through designing course content and building strategies for learner experience and development, creating learning plans and modules to ensure the course attracts, retains, and advances the students.
S/He will collaborate with Adminisntrator other team members to understand the needs and develop learning modules. The Curriculum Designer and will report to the Principal.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

Curriculum design:
Researching on syllabi for Subjects.
Designing curriculum for the vertical
Creation of Learning Objectives and syllabus framework
Leverage advanced knowledge of content development to ensure alignment with learning and business needs
Work collaboratively with ...Sales Team... to understand development needs and course objectives Lesson creation:
Create lessons and topics in a storyboard format for approval from the design team prior to developing courses
Develop course content for continuous learning, build learning plans and modules that align with strategies considering considered the users experience perspective
Spearheading the lesson creation process for the content verticals
Assess vendors that fit with learning objectives
Reviewing lessons created by interns, freelancers, vendors etc
Partner with Digital Team on learning system requirements as well as the Admistrative team on the testing and roll out of courses
Ensuring a smoother production flow
Support Academic Team in course understnanding. review and course content editing as per requirement
Review and test course materials and ensure the course design adheres to established standards and course objectives
Internal stakeholders (Management):
Partner with stakeholders to obtain and understand all research and documents that pertain to each course development project.
Coordinating with the creative and media team for ensuring more visually appealing lessons
Ensuring quality content output from vendors and freelance content creators
Keeping a track of their timelines and output on a regular basis
Conduct educator training on curriculum and content created and other responsibilities that come up from time to time
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (BSc/BE/BTech)
Masters degree or BEd is a plus
Preferred Experience
2-3 years of experience in teaching
1 year content/ curriculum development experience
