We are seeking a Head Basketball coach at a school-level sports academy who is responsible for developing players' physical and technical skills, creating game strategies, managing team operations, and fostering a positive environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and personal growth

JOB DISCRIPTION:

Manage and oversee all non-competitive, competitive, and performance basketball programmes within Basketball Academies Ensure the Basketball Academy provides a stimulating, challenging, and supportive environment that inspires all students to reach their potential Make Basketball academy curriculum, ensuring alignment with the academies Develop and implement effective training programmes tailored to individuals Create and execute strategies, ensuring students are well-prepared for competition at all levels Plan and deliver well-structured and clearly presented training sessions appropriate to students' abilities Promote high standards of behaviour, fostering a positive, proactive team culture inter-academy tournaments Plan, attend, and support students during competitions Manage, monitor, and develop the academy coaching team Provide regular feedback to coaches and ensure consistency in training methods and coaching philosophy Organise and lead weekly coaches' meetings, setting clear expectations and responsibilities Foster continuous professional development within the coaching team, encouraging collaboration and growth is committed to the safety and protection of children. Ensure clear and effective communication of the Basketball Academy's organisation, outcomes, and opportunities to students & parents Provide high-quality, accurate, constructive, and timely information to parents, through player progress reports Assess, record, and monitor the progress of all students and provide feedback to the coaching team and parents Ensure compliance with all relevant academies policies, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, and Private Coaching policies Experience in managing basketball coaching programmes across multiple age groups and ability levels Proven leadership and management skills in a sports academy or similar environment ? Ability to plan and deliver high-quality training sessions and competitions Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills Experience coaching in a school, academy, or professional basketball environment Ability to mentor and support the professional development of other coaches Profound knowledge of basketball techniques, strategies, and rules

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
