Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution:
Lead end-to-end execution of civil works across multiple projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure).
Develop project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design, quality, safety, and statutory compliance.#
2. Design Coordination & Technical Oversight:
Review and approve architectural and structural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, and other engineering disciplines for smooth execution.
Resolve technical issues on-site and provide engineering solutions.#
3. Team & Contractor Management:
Lead, guide, and manage internal civil engineering teams, site engineers, and supervisors.
Evaluate and finalize contractors/vendors; oversee their performance and compliance.
Ensure labor and contractor safety, efficiency, and adherence to project goals.#
4. Budgeting & Cost Control:
Monitor project budgets and control cost overruns without compromising on quality.
Review contractor bills, cost reports, and support procurement in vendor negotiations.#
5. Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain detailed project documentation including daily reports, QC records, and inspection logs.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, project management methodologies, and construction technologies.
Expertise in reading & interpreting drawings, contracts, and technical documents.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and manage large-scale projects under tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Post-graduation in Construction Management or Project Management is an advantage).
Experience:
Minimum
15+ years
in civil construction with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Industry Preference:
Real Estate, residential (high-rise) and commercial projects.
