Garuda Food, a leading food products manufacturer based in Thanjavur, is looking for a

skilled and innovative Chef

to join our production and product development team. The ideal candidate will develop and standardize recipes, ensure authentic taste and quality, and work closely with the production team to deliver consistent, large-scale food products that meet our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and refine recipes suitable for large-scale food manufacturing. Ensure traditional Tamil Nadu flavors and authenticity are maintained in all products. Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to standardize cooking methods and ingredient proportions. Oversee quality control during food preparation and batch production. Maintain hygiene and safety standards in accordance with FSSAI and company guidelines. Monitor ingredient sourcing and advise on quality and flavor optimization. Train production staff in proper food preparation techniques and consistency. Innovate new products aligned with market trends and company goals. Maintain detailed records of recipes, production notes, and quality checks.

Qualifications and Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management / Food Technology. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or food manufacturing company. Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, traditional Tamil Nadu recipes, and large-batch cooking. Understanding of food safety standards (FSSAI compliance). Creative approach to product development with strong attention to detail. Good communication and leadership skills.
