Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a wide range of
Tandoori dishes
(naan, kebabs, tikkas, etc.)
Execute
Indian curries
, gravies, biryanis, dals, and regional specialties.
Prepare popular
Indo-Chinese items
like fried rice, noodles, Manchurian, chilli chicken, etc.
Plan menus and daily specials in coordination with the Head Chef.
Ensure proper portion control, plating, and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety as per FSSAI guidelines.
Monitor stock levels and inform the kitchen manager for replenishment.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff or commis chefs.
Maintain consistency in taste and quality in every dish.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience in Indian, Tandoor, and Chinese cuisine (min 3 years).
Good understanding of kitchen operations and food cost control.
Knowledge of ingredients, spices, and flavor profiles.
Familiar with food hygiene and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
