Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join our team at our multi-cuisine cafe located in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Continental cuisine and a proven track record of leading culinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Menu Development:

Develop innovative and diverse menus that cater to our clientele's tastes and preferences, with a focus on Continental cuisine. Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and daily specials.

Food Preparation and Execution:

Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality and consistent dishes are served to guests. Lead by example in the kitchen, demonstrating culinary techniques and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Kitchen Management:

Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet demand while minimizing waste.
Quality Control:

Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold the cafe's standards. Implement and enforce proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
Cost Control:

Work closely with management to control food costs and optimize profitability. Monitor portion sizes and minimize waste through efficient kitchen practices.
Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments, including front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with the management team to address any issues and continuously improve operations.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar establishment, with expertise in Continental cuisine. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Creativity and passion for culinary excellence.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
