Company Description: A well-known Bakery Chain based in Guwahati Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef to manage an 11-year-old bakery. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the Bakery operations, Product Innovation, Standardisation, and staff management. He will lead a team of approx 40 people across different segments viz Cakes, Bread and Snacks. The person would ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and maintain inventory and cost control. The Head Chef will also collaborate with the management team to create innovative and exciting dining experiences for our customers. People Management is an essential part of this profile. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chef or Head Chef Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe development Strong leadership and management skills Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Creativity and passion for culinary arts Relevant culinary certification or degree will be an added advantage. Working knowledge of MS excel is mandatory.
