The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations at Nescafe Cafe, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages that meet brand standards. She will manage kitchen staff, design menu items, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining excellent food quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
Plan, prepare, and present menu items in line with Nescafe Cafe's recipes and standards.
Develop new dishes and menu items that align with customer preferences and brand identity.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet cafe standards at all times.
Monitor inventory, order ingredients, and manage stock levels to minimize wastage.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen team members in food preparation, hygiene, and safety practices.
Coordinate with the cafe manager and service team to ensure timely food delivery and customer satisfaction.
Control food costs through effective portion control and waste management.
Maintain equipment and ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Participate in menu planning, pricing, and cost control activities.
Handle kitchen-related customer feedback professionally and make improvements as needed.
