Job Description


Main responsibilities:

  • Supply, Demand and Inventory Planning
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Finance for monthly and annual demand plan and with Supply Chain to finalize supply plan and ensure alignment with demand plan. Improve planning with use of templates and analysis
  • Proactively evaluate demand and supply scenarios to identify business risks / opportunities and develop potential actions to target the same
  • Collaborate with cross functional team (Regulatory affairs, Supply Chain and Quality) and Regional BOD to proactively identify supply risks and execute action plan to mitigate the same
  • Manage allocation for constrained supplies based on business / sales objectives. Ensure allocated quantities are shipped as per plan
  • Support local SC and Region BOD to manage local distributor supply and demand planning in Sri Lanka and Nepal
  • Conduct demand and supply planning review with Nepal and Sri Lanka
  • Commercial Policy, Pricing and GTN
  • Lead development of 3Y GTN plan and obtain approval from cluster, region and TRM on an annual basis
  • Own commercial policy and drive commercial priorities in line with GBU objectives
  • Act as single point of contact for SPoC for country TRM team
  • Initiate price increases in in-line with plan. Review all pricing requests and obtain approval
  • Finalize quarterly GTN plan in line with commercial policy and business objectives and obtain approval for the same. Monitor annual GTN budget is maintained
  • Roll-out approved GTN plan
  • Support Private Institutions with annual account-wise GTN planning and approvals. Review account-wise proposals in real-time
  • Work with Nepal and Sri Lanka distributor for integration of country specific requirements in commercial policy
  • Tender Management
  • Work with India public market for tender bid submission including pricing
  • Support in developing business case where required for RTMB approval
  • Ensure tender tracking on a regular basis
  • Support Nepal and Sri Lanka distributor with adhoc public market tenders including developing business and obtaining approvals where required
  • Alliance Management
  • Define governance for alliance and ensure implementation of the same
  • Responsible for issue management and resolution of cross-functional / business critical issues with alliance partner
  • Ensure contractual obligations are maintained
  • Drive business and financial performance of alliance
  • Evaluate on a periodic basis new operating model processes and in case of changes revise the processes and roll-out the revised processes with all stakeholder
  • Distributor Management
  • Work with SC team to ensure inventory levels at CFA and distributor level are maintained
  • Work with alliance partner to ensure distributor programs are leveraged and implemented
  • Initiate specific initiatives as required including distributor event and GTN programs
  • Develop and manage Digivax (Customer loyalty program)
  • Strategic Projects
  • Drive new projects to drive / optimize business growth
  • Review initiatives, business plans / recommendations (including associated costs and forecasted revenue) to ensure that all opportunities are optimised and aligned
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to enable implementation of approved initiatives
About you
  • Experience:
  • Commercial management (including pricing & GTN management) and business operations experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of over 12 years in Consulting, BOS, Supply Chain, commercial will be preferred
  • Exposure to In-bound and Out-bound supply chain management (including short and mid-term supply chain planning and execution) and issue resolution
  • Delivered in previous roles in the area of partnership / alliance management
  • Exposure to public market tendering
  • Channel management

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Graduate with Management degree from a leading institute
  • Languages:
