Job Title Head Business Development - ATF
Position Summary
Objective & Purpose of the Position - To get sustainable business in Company's focus areas with good profit
margins as per Company's ABP
Responsibilities
Securing Orders in Target market segments (Advance Technological Facilities); Spotting Opportunities; Tie ups
leading to MOU/agreement with GIS manufacturers/main vendors/sub-contractors; Tie ups leading to
MOU/agreement with overseas agents; Review and Optimization of Engineering Proposal; Review and
Optimization of Cost Portion; Post Bid follow ups; Risk Assessment & Mitigation.
Experience & Education
Engineer having at least 20-25 years' experience in the field of Business Development in EPC sector. Should have
worked in BD area for ATF facilities like - Data Cente, semiconductor, pharma, battery FMCG etc.
Additional qualification in Management area is desirable.
Technical Competencies (Essential/ Desirable)
Domain Knowledge of BD, tendering including risk identification, evaluation & assessment and control;
Knowledge of market in respect of costs of various items, suppliers, contractors, potential customers;
Knowledge of competitors; Commercial information like foreign currency variations, Forward coverage, taxation,
insurance.
Cross-functional: Knowledge of Quality, Engineering, Finance, SCM, HR; Liasioning with Agents /Consultants
/Vendors /Contractors /Clients.
Skills: Customer relationship management skills, Communication skills, negotiation skills.
