Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Strategy & P&L Ownership
Own end-to-end e-commerce strategy, including
business planning, pricing, promotions, and P&L management
.
Independently manage assigned budgets and scale categories with
minimum turnover of INR 200 Cr
.
Define growth roadmap for D2C and marketplace channels aligned with brand objectives.
Channel Management
Drive performance across
brand-owned D2C platforms (Shopify/Magento)
and marketplaces (Amazon, etc.).
Omni-channel exposure (offline + online integration) is an added advantage.
Exclude pure marketplace/account management-only roles.
Product & Category Management
Lead
physical product pricing, category management, and new product development (NPD)
.
Strong understanding of
product sourcing
, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.
Work closely with supply chain, sourcing, and inventory teams to ensure availability and margin optimization.
Digital Marketing & CRO
Lead performance marketing efforts across
SEO, SEM, paid media, CRM, and social
.
Optimize website UX/UI and conversion funnels using
A/B testing and CRO frameworks
.
Monitor and improve key metrics:
ROAS, CAC, AOV, Conversion Rate, CLV
.
Data, Analytics & Forecasting
Strong command of
data management, forecasting, and business projections
.
Analyze performance using tools like
GA4, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
.
Present weekly/monthly KPI reviews to senior leadership.
Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of
minimum 5+ members
.
Collaborate with marketing, product, supply chain, tech, and customer experience teams.
Manage agency and vendor relationships (excluding marketing agency-only background profiles).
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
10-14 years of total experience in
brand-led physical products
(no services).
Strong exposure to
D2C category management
and scalable consumer brands.
Experience in startups or high-growth brands preferred.
