Job Description

An Airtel wireman is a field technician responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband (fiber optic/copper) connections.

Key responsibilities

Installation:

Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting broadband connections and related wiring at customer homes and offices.

Cabling:

Laying and installing fiber optic or copper cables, drilling walls, and running concealed wiring as needed.

Equipment:

Ensuring proper connection of broadband routers and modems, and testing equipment after installation or repair.

Customer service:

Explaining the use of equipment to customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and demonstrating good customer service.

Record keeping:

Keeping records of installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Quality control:

Ensuring quality workmanship, optimal signal strength, and timely completion of tasks.
