HCM Workday Consultant

General description
Position holder shall contribute to the Agile Release Train with as technofunctional consultant. Objective is to provide technical support for the implementation of HCM products like \xe2\x80\x9chire\xe2\x80\x9d, \xe2\x80\x9cretire\xe2\x80\x9d, \xe2\x80\x9ctransfer\xe2\x80\x9d within the Workday SaaS solution of Mercedes Benz AG.
Skills
Workday: Profound knowledge of 5+ years Workday technical framework. Rich experience in system configuration and setup. Ideally, the person is a certified Workday technical engineer.
Peoplesoft: Experienced in Peoplesoft development. Ideally, the person is acquainted with the Peoplesoft Core and Comp&Ben Modules is a plus
HCM: The position holder is aware of the major modules (\xe2\x80\x9cproducts\xe2\x80\x9d) of HCM SaaS solutions, especially hire, transfer, retire, and general employee administration. He/she is knowledgeable about data provision for these modules to downstream systems or data intake from upstream systems.
Communication: Sufficient communication skills to discuss and clarify with end customer, in this case, the HR department of Mercedes Benz. Fluent in English.
Consulting: The position holder is able to investigate on possible solutions, and to give balanced presentations of benefits, cost and risk of implementation. On this basis, he/she delivers a qualified solution proposal.
Tasks
The position holder will old or acquire knowledge about the major modules (\xe2\x80\x9cproducts\xe2\x80\x9d) of Workday SaaS HCM. He/she compares this technically and functionally to the existing modules (\xe2\x80\x9cprocesses\xe2\x80\x9d) in ePeople. Fit/Gap analysis is conducted, and Workday added benefits are identified. Cost estimation for one time implementation and maintenance are delivered. Risks are asessed and evaluated.
Code of the inhouse PS HCM template called \xe2\x80\x9cePeople\xe2\x80\x9d is scrutinized so that the functioning of the program can be explained in detail - thus shortcomings in implementation in workday are avoided.
The position holder explains the same to an international audience, which includes German HR staff, and proposes a way to solution.
Working environment
Location is Banagalore, India. Position is full time. Contract duration is unlimited.
