Job Summary (List Format):
- Hands-on experience with HCL WebSphere Commerce Suite (WCS) versions 7, 8, and 9, particularly v9 architecture and migration activities.
- Experience serving as an Architect or taking on architectural responsibilities.
- Familiarity with design patterns, production cut-over strategies, performance optimization, and best practices in HCL Commerce.
- Strong knowledge of HCL Commerce data models, programming model, Java, J2EE, Oracle DB/DB2, and Linux/Shell scripting.
- Customization and development experience with SOLR/Elastic Search.
- Experience in integrating and developing with SOAP and REST services.
- Proficiency with monitoring/observability tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Solr).
- Deep understanding of WebSphere Commerce application architecture and subsystems (Catalog, Order, Member, Payment).
- Experience designing and developing custom solutions for WebSphere Commerce, supporting B2B, B2C, and Extended Sites business models.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and full-stack development.
- Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD), integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (Junit, Mockito, RestAssured).
- Strong grasp of large-scale distributed systems, including EAI, messaging, microservices, information models, and distributed logging/tracing.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, scrum ceremonies, branching/merge strategies, and code repository management (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Practical experience with cloud services, DevOps tools, Docker, Kubernetes, distributed caching (Redis), and distributed APM solutions.
- Preferred knowledge of at least one cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
