Medical Coder - AAPC Certified / CPC Trained

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The role involves accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient records for billing and insurance purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze patient medical records and documentation. Assign accurate medical codes based on diagnoses, procedures, and physician notes. Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with federal regulations and payer guidelines. Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity. Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing teams to resolve coding queries. Stay updated with coding guidelines, policies, and payer updates.

Requirements:

AAPC Certified Member or CPC Trained (other certifications like CCS, CCA also considered). Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and coding software. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ year of medical coding experience (freshers with certification may also apply). Knowledge of healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and payer policies. Experience in HCC is a plus.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
