Core Hardware Skills

Computer Assembly & Maintenance

Assembling desktops, installing hardware components (motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, etc.)

Troubleshooting & Repair

-(hard drives, memory, power supply, peripherals).

Peripheral Configuration

-Printers, scanners, routers, modems, and biometric devices setup.

Firmware & BIOS Management

-Updating BIOS/UEFI, configuring boot sequences, and troubleshooting firmware issues.

Storage & Backup Devices

-Installation and configuration of HDD, SSD, NAS, and RAID systems.

Networking Fundamentals

-Knowledge of LAN, WAN, MAN, WLAN, and VPN concepts.

IP Addressing & Subnetting

-Configuring IPv4/IPv6 addresses, subnet masks, and gateways.

Switches & Routers

-Configuration, cabling, and troubleshooting of switches and routers.

Network Cabling

-Crimping RJ45 connectors, Cat5/Cat6 cabling, and patch panel management.

Wireless Networking

-Setting up Wi-Fi, securing SSIDs, WPA2/WPA3 authentication.

Network Security

-Firewalls, antivirus, access control, and monitoring unauthorized access.

Protocols Knowledge

-TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP.
