Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Hardware and Software Network Engineer

to oversee and manage the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting both hardware and software systems, as well as managing network security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi). Create and manage Group Policies (GPOs) to control user and computer environments across the network. Implement security settings, drive mappings, software installations, and desktop restrictions via Group Policies. Monitor and troubleshoot Group Policy application and replication issues across domains. Set up and support desktops, servers, firewalls, routers, switches, and printers. Install and configure operating systems and applications. Perform regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and backups. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software and network issues. Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols (antivirus, firewall, user access control). Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets and configurations. Collaborate with external vendors and support teams as needed. Provide technical support to staff onsite and remotely.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2+ years of proven experience in network and system administration. Proficient in managing

Windows Server

environments and

Group Policy Objects (GPOs)

. Experience with

Active Directory

, DNS, DHCP, and domain services. Ability to enforce IT compliance and security via centralized Group Policies. Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, networking protocols, firewalls, and VPNs. Experience with hospital EMR systems (preferred, if applicable). Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA (preferred).
