Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and medical interface devices.
Perform
system configuration
, OS installation, and software setup for diagnostic and administrative systems.
Use
Double Shooter
or similar tools for
hardware diagnostics
and fault detection.
Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure optimal performance of all IT hardware.
Maintain an updated record of IT assets and ensure timely repair or replacement of faulty equipment.
2. Network Configuration & Troubleshooting
Configure, manage, and monitor
LAN/WAN
, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
Handle
network server issues
including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and IP configuration.
Ensure reliable network connectivity between medical equipment, LIS (Laboratory Information System), and central servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity problems, data transmission issues, and slow network performance.
Ensure network security through firewall management and access control policies.
3. Server Administration
Install, configure, and maintain
Windows/Linux servers
and backup systems.
Handle
network server issues
such as login errors, service failures, or performance degradation.
Manage
user accounts, group policies, file servers, and data sharing permissions
.
Perform
regular backups
, data recovery checks, and system patch updates.
Monitor server health, resource usage, and uptime across all branches.
4. Phone Network & Communication Handling
Install, configure, and maintain
VoIP and PBX systems
within the diagnostic center.
Troubleshoot
phone network issues
including connectivity failures, call quality issues, and routing problems.
Coordinate with telecom providers for external connectivity and bandwidth management.
Ensure efficient operation of internal communication and intercom systems.
5. CCTV Installation & Maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain
CCTV surveillance systems
(IP/Analog).
Monitor CCTV network connectivity and recording functions.
Manage DVR/NVR configurations, storage management, and footage backup.
Troubleshoot camera or video feed issues and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
Ensure CCTV systems cover all critical areas for security and compliance.
6. IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support to staff for system, printer, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot
LIS/HIS connectivity
, system access, and performance problems.
Document all support activities, system configurations, and network changes.
Ensure minimum downtime of all critical systems used for diagnostic operations.
7. Data Security, Backup & Compliance
Implement and maintain IT security protocols including
antivirus, firewall, and access controls
.
Ensure
data protection and privacy compliance
as per healthcare and regulatory standards (NABL/NABH).
Schedule and verify data backups to prevent data loss.
Support IT audits and system compliance reviews.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
