Job Title: Hardware & Networking Engineer

Department: IT / Technical Support

Location: - Karegaon Near Ranjangaon MIDC

Reports To: Admin Incharge / Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware & Networking Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware systems, networks, and peripherals. The candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, network security, and minimal downtime for business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CCTV, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

Monitor and manage LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Perform regular system and network health checks, backups, and updates.

Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, antivirus, and data protection measures.

Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, networking, and connectivity issues.

Manage installation and maintenance of structured cabling and network infrastructure.

Maintain asset records for IT hardware and software.

Stay updated with the latest hardware and networking technologies.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of CCTV, computer hardware, peripherals, and networking equipment.

Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network protocols.

Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network security tools.

Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software/network issues quickly.

Knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems and server environments.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hardware & networking support.
