Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Component Creation:

Design and maintain schematic symbols, part Geometry, PCB footprints, IBIS Models and 3D models for electronic parts.

Data Management:

Manage component libraries within EDM systems, ensuring data is organized, accurate, and up-to-date.

Standards Compliance:

Apply IPC, JEDEC, and internal standards for library creation and validation.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Hardware Engineers, Component Engineers, and PCB Layout Designers to fulfill part requests and resolve issues.

Data Extraction:

Read and interpret manufacturing datasheets and supplier data to build accurate components.

Process Improvement:

Develop and implement new processes to enhance library creation and release workflows.


Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Exp level: 2 to 5 years
Experience with ECAD library management tools Microsoft Office tools, Visio Standard, Mentor Graphics Tools Suite - EDM, Library Cockpit, DX Designer, Expedition, PCB Library expert, XDM Client.
Knowledge of PCB layout guidelines and standards
Proficiency in creating schematic symbols and footprints.
Strong understanding of component types
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
