The technician will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing components of electronic systems to ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Repair:
Diagnose faults in electronic equipment and systems using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
Repair or replace faulty components, such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, ICs, and other electronic components.
Ensure the integrity and functionality of PCB assemblies and wiring systems.
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on electronic systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure long-term functionality.
Maintain records of maintenance and repairs to ensure continuous operation and traceability.
Component Testing:
Test electronic components and circuits to ensure they are within required operational specifications.
Identify component failures and suggest appropriate solutions.
Soldering and Assembly:
Perform soldering of SMD and through-hole components on PCBs as part of repairs or assembly processes.
Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble electronic devices, ensuring proper placement and connection of components.
Equipment Maintenance:
Keep electronic tools and testing equipment well-maintained, calibrated, and in good working condition.
Maintain an organized and safe workspace.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed service reports and document all repair and maintenance activities for future reference.
Assist in updating circuit diagrams, wiring layouts, and maintenance protocols when necessary.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the hardware engineering and production teams to resolve recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma,BTech or certification in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in electronics repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and component-level repairs.
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of basic electronic principles, including Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, and working with AC/DC circuits.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting circuit diagrams, schematics, and datasheets.
Hands-on experience with electronic tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering irons, and power supplies.
Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills for writing reports and collaborating with other departments.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices.
