B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech in Electronics, EEE or related domain
Experience:
3 to 6 years
:
Analyze electrical and functional requirements from system specifications to define clear hardware design objectives for EV subsystems.
Proficient in
Altium Designer
for schematic creation, multi-layer PCB layout,
Gerber generation
, and
BOM creation
, ensuring signal integrity and manufacturability.
Responsible for hardware design and development of
Electronic Control Units (ECUs)
, power converters, and communication modules used in EV systems.
Select and qualify
automotive-grade components
based on performance, reliability, availability, and cost considerations.
Prepare and execute
DVP plans
to verify hardware performance, functionality, and compliance with design requirements. Generate and maintain
design documentation, test procedures, validation reports, and DVP results
as per company and automotive standards.
Conduct reliability,
EMI/EMC, safety, and environmental qualification testing as per ISO, IEC, CE, and FCC
standards.
Perform
hardware debugging and component testing
, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions using diagnostic tools and lab instruments.
Implement and validate communication protocols such as
CAN, LIN, RS232, Ethernet, SPI, and UART
for reliable ECU interaction.
Collaborate with embedded software teams for interface validation, communication testing, and functional verification.
Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities, ensuring hardware design readiness for mass production.
Work closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure proper system integration and production feasibility.
