Job Summary

IFDA Institute is seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware Engineer to support training delivery, laboratory management, and hands-on technical instruction. The role involves system assembly, troubleshooting, maintenance, and guiding students in practical hardware and networking concepts aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble, install, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware systems (desktops, laptops, peripherals). Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, OS, and basic networking issues. Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and essential software. Manage and maintain computer labs, tools, and inventory. Conduct practical training sessions and demonstrations for students. Support students during lab sessions, projects, and assessments. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper usage of lab equipment. Assist in curriculum implementation related to hardware, networking, and IT support. Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for smooth lab operations. Maintain documentation, reports, and maintenance logs. Required Skills & Competencies*
Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and architecture. Proficiency in Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, cabling, IP addressing). Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware, IT, Electronics, or a related field. Hardware & Networking certifications (optional but preferred).

Experience

1-3 years of experience in hardware support, IT support, or lab management. Teaching or training experience is an added advantage.
