Role Summary: NEC Corporation India Pvt. Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly talented Hardware Engineer (2+ years experience) for performing Hardware design/development and testing at NEC Mobile Network Excellence Center (NMEC), Chennai
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering
Experience: Must have 2+ years of experience in the field of HW design and development and testing
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for HW Testing (Setup creation, Execution and Report creation)

• Test requirement understanding, Support to create test plan for HW verification and validation.
• Technical Interface with other teams to continuously improve the quality of the testing.
• Review the HW circuit diagram Schematic and PCB design and Test reports

Domain skills
Must to have:

• Good knowledge on Basic Circuit Design and Testing (Digital/Analog/Power)
• Good hands-on experience in board bring up testing and high speed interface testing.
• Good knowldege on HW/SW interfaces and testing.
• Hands on experience of Schematic & PCB design tools and simulation tools like Cadence, Mentor graphics, LT spice
• Hands-on experience in usage of HW measuring tools like Oscilloscope, Signal Logic analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, etc
• Basic knowledge on Process based design and RF circuits.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge on Manufacturing process
• Knowledge on Test Automation

• Ensuring that research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standards
• Assisting with formulating business plans and budgets for product development
• Analyzing quality/safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
• Keeping abreast of new developments in the industry and translating those developments into new and viable options for the organization and customers
• Organizing technical presentations to customers and/or industry groups
• Monitoring product development outcomes to ensure technical, functional, cost, and timing targets are met In some organizations, may be responsible for managing product regulatory approval process
