Job Description

Position Overview: Designs, develops, tests, implements and/or enhances electrical systems. Develops and maintains electrical and related hardware and components for complex electro mechanical devices. May work on servo systems, analog and digital logic as well as general system integration. Ensures appropriate electrical system integration with mechanical and software elements of products, systems and devices. Key Responsibilities: Provides Electrical Engineering support for discrete complex systems Ensures circuit designs are included in cross functional / platform design reviews prior to Gerber-out, and attends / actively participates in other design reviews Actively supports ECAD during place / route of designs and ensures placement / routing meet all electrical requirements Drives test plan development / execution and supports test plan development / execution in other test areas for designs Works as part of a cross-functional team to take product from concept through prototype and into production Participates on cost reduction initiatives and projects Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree and 4-6years\' relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience Known within work area as an influential thought partner Addresses multiple, undefined and/or complex challenges Recognized within team or area as a subject matter expert Develops or adjusts processes to enhance effectiveness, solve recurring problems or improve efficiency Finds ways to assess & apply innovative ideas to enhance business results Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in job discipline Under limited supervision, applies research, information gathering, and analytical skills to deconstruct, assess and resolve complex technical and operational issues Leverages multiple sources of information, including qualitative, quantitative, and other research / trend data to identify and address problems Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders Establishes effective working relationships with peers, clients, vendors, business partners and/or other stakeholders Collaborates with functional or cross organizational teams to generate solutions to complex and challenging problems Actively seeks and provides feedback to enhance work group, team and broader departmental performance Requisition Employer Description
