for photovoltaic (PV) testing. You will be responsible for the optical, electrical, and control system design of simulators that replicate solar irradiance in lab and producti on environments.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate, repeatable testing of PV cells and modules for performance validation, certification, and manufacturing QA.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop testing in compliance with IEC 60904
stan dards.
?
Develop or select appropriate light sources (xenon, LED, halogen) and optical systems to achieve target irradiance, spectral match, and uniformity.
?
Integrate optical, mechanical, electrical, and control components into a reliable test platform.
?
Desi gn or oversee the development of automation, control software, and data acquisition systems.
?
Perform optical simulations (e.g., with Zemax , LightTools ) and thermal analysis to guide design.
?
Calibrate and validate simulator performance using reference cells
and traceable measurement methods.
?
Support manufacturing and field deployment of sun simulators, including troubleshooting and upgrades.
?
Required Qualifications:
?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
?
3+ years of experience in designing or working with sun simulators or similar optical/electromechanical test systems.
?
Experience with optical modeling tools (e.g., Zemax , TracePro , or similar).
?
Hands - on experience
with light source systems (xenon, LED arrays), power electronics, and control systems.
?
Familiarity with data acquisition and control interfaces (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, PLCs).

Experience with LED - based light design and control .

Knowledge of data collection and Electronic load

Experience working in manufacturing environments or with automation systems.

Familiarity with ISO/IEC calibration practices and lab equipment traceability.
