Hirngin for Hardware Design/Test Engineer - Bangalore
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Design/Test Engineer to join our engineering team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and testing hardware components and systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in schematic design, PCB layout, and hands-on testing and debugging of prototypes.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Design:
Design and develop analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits using industry-standard tools.
Create and maintain detailed schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts.
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams to integrate hardware into final products.
Perform component selection based on performance, cost, and availability.
Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute test plans and validation procedures for prototypes and final products.
Use lab instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, etc.) to verify and debug hardware.
Perform failure analysis and root cause identification.
Automate tests when possible using tools like Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB.
