Job Description

We are looking for a skilled PCB Design Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in designing and developing printed circuit boards, specializing in embedded system projects using PIC microcontrollers. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience from schematic design and component selection to PCB layout, Gerber file creation, and post-fabrication testing.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop PCB schematics and layouts from concept to production. Work extensively with

PIC microcontroller

-based projects. Utilize software tools including

KiCad

,

Altium Designer, MPLAB X IDE

, and PICkit for design, programming, and debugging tasks. Prepare detailed schematics, PCB layouts considering signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC guidelines. Generate manufacturing files (Gerber, drill files) and ensure design compliance with manufacturing standards. Perform design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and manufacturing. Conduct prototype testing, troubleshoot design issues, and validate PCB functionality. Maintain and update design documentation, bill of materials, and component libraries.
