job detailsPosition: Sr. Hardware Design Engineer Department: Design Electronics Location: MumbaiKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\xc2\xb7 Developing New Products as assigned by the Reporting Manager\xc2\xb7 Executing Changes / modifications required in existing design as per requirements.\xc2\xb7 Selecting components for meeting specifications defined by project head.\xc2\xb7 Coordinating for hardware & firmware development.\xc2\xb7 Testing prototypes, doing verification and validation.\xc2\xb7 Conducting study of Product standard.\xc2\xb7 Contributing towards cost deduction for manufacturing.\xc2\xb7 Documenting New/Existing Product design\xc2\xb7 Maintaining Design Inputs, reviewed or modified specifications and drawings & version history.\xc2\xb7 Coordinating product documentation with Regulatory, Production & Service departments.\xc2\xb7 Providing technical Support for Marketing, Production and Service.\xc2\xb7 Carrying out any other tasks assigned by Reporting Manager.SKILLS / COMPETENCIES NEEDED:\xc2\xb7 Understanding switches & relays (FETS, IGBTs, Reed relay\xe2\x80\xa6)\xc2\xb7 Magnetic Design (inductor, transformer...)\xc2\xb7 Circuit level simulation (Proteus..)\xc2\xb7 PCB design software (Proteus, Altium, OrCAD..)\xc2\xb7 Digital Control systems.\xc2\xb7 Digital Signal Processing.\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of Embedded systems\xc2\xb7 Time Management\xc2\xb7 Planning and Execution\xc2\xb7 Effective Communication\xc2\xb7 Good grasping power in adapting new techniques.\xc2\xb7 Creative & logical thinking...
