The Hardware & Networking Support professional provides technical assistance for:
Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, servers, routers, switches, etc.).
Network setup and troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Diagnosing and fixing system and network issues for end users.
Ensuring system security and smooth connectivity across the organization.
Key
Responsibilities
Hardware Support
+ Assemble, install, and configure desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
+ Diagnose and repair hardware malfunctions.
+ Manage upgrades and replacements of parts.
Networking Support
+ Set up and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
+ Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, connectivity problems, and slow network performance.
+ Manage IP configurations, DHCP, DNS, and VPN setups.
User Support
+ Provide first-level technical support to employees.
+ Troubleshoot OS, software, and hardware issues.
+ Train users on basic troubleshooting and best practices.
Maintenance & Monitoring
+ Regular system health checks and updates.
+ Backup and recovery processes.
+ Ensure antivirus, firewalls, and security measures are active.
Required Skills :
