to lead and oversee plating operations in our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electroplating processes, with in-depth knowledge of hard chrome plating for various industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the
hard chrome plating department
.
Oversee the plating of components to ensure
adhesion, thickness, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance
as per customer specifications.
Maintain and control plating bath chemistry, temperature, and pH to ensure optimal quality.
Monitor and manage
plating tanks, anodes, fixtures
, and all related equipment.
Implement
preventive maintenance
schedules for plating lines and supporting systems.
Lead and train a team of operators and technicians in plating techniques and safety protocols.
Coordinate with
production planning
and
quality control
departments to meet delivery timelines and product standards.
Ensure compliance with
environmental, health, and safety regulations
related to hazardous chemicals.
Improve efficiency through
process optimization
, waste reduction, and cost control.
Maintain detailed documentation for
process parameters, quality checks, and chemical usage
.
