We are seeking a skilled and experienced Halwai Chef to prepare a wide range of Indian sweets and snacks. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Indian dessert-making techniques, ingredients, hygiene standards, and presentation. This role is essential in maintaining the authenticity and quality of our culinary offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of Indian sweets such as gulab jamun, rasgulla, barfi, peda, laddu, jalebi, and others.
Create regional sweets based on customer preferences (e.g., Bengali, Rajasthani, South Indian).
Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Innovate and develop new sweet recipes as per market trends and customer demand.
Ensure timely production for bulk orders, catering events, or regular business.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Follow food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of workstations.
Train junior kitchen staff or assistants as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Halwai chef in a commercial kitchen.
Deep knowledge of traditional Indian sweet recipes and techniques.
