Salon Hairdresser -

Role Overview

A salon hairdresser provides professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services to clients while ensuring a friendly, comfortable, and hygienic environment. You'll work closely with senior stylists, assistants, and front?desk staff to deliver high?quality results and maintain the salon's reputation.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their desired look, hair type, and maintenance needs.

- Perform a range of services: haircuts, trims, blow?drying, styling, coloring, bleaching, highlights, and scalp treatments.

- Keep workstations clean, sanitized, and organized; follow health?safety regulations.

- Manage appointment schedules, confirm bookings, and handle client inquiries.

- Upsell retail products (shampoos, conditioners, styling tools) and recommend home?care routines.

- Stay current with trends, techniques, and product knowledge through workshops and training.

- Maintain accurate records of services, product usage, and client preferences.

Required Qualifications

- Valid hairdressing license or certification (as per local regulations).

- Minimum 1-2?years of experience in a salon setting (entry?level candidates with strong portfolio may be considered).

- Proficiency with cutting, coloring, and styling techniques; knowledge of hair chemistry is a plus.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
