Job Description

H2S Engineers will be deployed to work offshore at UAE or North Africa

Initiation of a full on-board survey, covering offshore rig facility. Calibration, installation & maintenance of H2S Detection & Monitoring equipment, Breathing Apparatus Sets and Cascading System Coordination with Company Man and OIM on positioning of the H2S safety equipment Developing and delivering H2S Safety Induction to all the crew on board Monitor of H2S levels during clients operation H2S Contingency Planning for Emergency response. Conducting rig site safety inspections. Developing safety-related work procedures and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) for approval by Company. Responding to medical emergencies as qualified and as requested by Company representative. Assisting in managing onsite safety permitting system if requested by Company. Maintaining, calibrating, servicing, troubleshooting and operating of all Contractor owned and Company owned H2S safety equipment (SCBA, SABA, Gas Detection, Cascade and perimeter alarm systems) Provide suggestions, guidance, and recommendations that contribute but are limited to the continuous improvement opportunities that relate to the overall safety of Company operation. Coordinate with Company Man and OIM in conducting H2S drills.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas/Electronic), Geology/Geophysics or equivalent. At least 2-5 years working experience in naval, marine, shipyard or petrochemical facilities. Previous work experience as an offshore rig personnel such as electrical, drilling, mudlogging is a definite advantage. A positive attitude with good problem-solving skills, creativity, displaying initiative and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment. Capable of representing company before clients and for business development. Able to stay offshore for an extended duration. Must have valid BOSEIT, Seaman book, H2S (OPITO), Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate. Availability in short notice or immediately is preferred

Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
